About this Cook
My cooking tragedies
I recently had a stir-fry snafu that was so bad I ended up throwing out food. I NEVER do that! I'd made one, then another, type of noodle and both were horrible! The stir-fry itself was an "every leftover in the fridge" concoction that really, really didn't work. I was going for Italian-Asian fusion: NOT a good combo, I know now! I was so bummed out that I couldn't pull it off! I even tried to then mash up, egg and bread crumb the noodles and "create" noodle pancakes...disaster!! Oh well, live and learn.

Mom's Zucchini Bread
This bread has been such a huge hit for me! EVERYONE who tries it loves it. We always grow about 2 dozen zukes, most I get to too late and are huge, so bread is a good way to use them up. I froze several loaves last fall (after giving a bunch away), and just had one last week (it's May!) and it was delicious. Thank you SO much for sharing this recipe with us, "Mom"!!

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken
I could only give 4 stars because I had to substitute a couple of ingredients that I didn't have on-hand (I thought I did before I started; shame on me!) But it was a GREAT consistency and very yummy. My whole family liked it! Thank you for this idea!

Ground Turkey Noodle Bake
This was excellent! I love that it is a 1950's recipe, too. Definite comfort-food!
