Chocolate Ganache

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2009
This recipe is soo easy! I actually put the cream into the microwave because I was to lazy to get out a pan, worked great too! I also added a bit of rum extract, coffee granules and used butterscotch chocolate together with extra dark chocolate, the taste was simply amazing! I think this would also go really well with chopped hazelnuts on top. This recipe is very versatile as it is easy to add a little extra flavor/personal touch to it without messing it up or ruining the taste. definately recommend this one.

Vietnamese Sandwich

oh yum! these sandwhiches are absolutely delicious! I did add shredded marinated carrots, I used asian sweet chili sauce, also since I don't have a broiler I just fried the meat in a pan, but it was one of the best things I've eaten in a long time!

Fluffy Canadian Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
quite yummy pancakes, I added one packet of vanilla sugar to the pancakes and they were quite scrumptious! I did think however, they had a bit of a dough like aftertaste, however this may have been caused by the way i cooked them.

Buttermilk Honey Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
I made a small bread for dinner using a quarter of each of the ingredients, and it was very yummy! I especially LOVED the crust on this, crunchy, while not being to hard. I personally thought the flavour of honey maybe could have been a little more profound (next time ill try using a stronger flavoured honey), but it was mildly sweet without being overly sweet. It is a bit of a dense bread and at first I was afraid it wouldn't rise since it seemed to stay the same ammount even after sitting in a warm spot for an hour. one thing I would recommend though is to oil the bowl the bread is rising in just LIGHTLY, i think that may have something to do with it.

Cheese Souffles

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
this was my first time ever making a souffle and it went very well in my opinion. I made it with dutch young cheese instead of cheddar though, and no cayenne or mustard either but it was very tasty. It took a little longer to bake then 20 mins, but that was most likely because my oven temperature is a little off. It is a very filling recipe though! I'd recommend this recipe to anyone looking to make a souffle. it's very easy to do and tasty.

Strawberry Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2007
While these taste quite nice the recipe took much longer to cook then stated. This might be because I only used paper cups and no muffin tin though, (I unfortunetly do not own a muffin tin) they also turned out rather flat because I used paper cups.
