thug life!!
About this Cook
I've always been a terrible cook, I panic in the kitchen and end up making a huge mess. Once I became a "housewife" I've found more patience in the kitchen and am having lots of fun experimenting.
My favorite things to cook
I've learned that I can never go wrong making Italian food. I make a mean Lasagna, and my favorite thing about it is that it only requires one dish!
My cooking triumphs
I make some excellent mashed potatoes. Even the best cook I know tried, and didn't quite get it right!
My cooking tragedies
Shortly after my hubby and I got married, I tried to do "breakfast for dinner." I nearly set the kitchen on fire, spilled cooking oil all over the floor, and burnt everything. My husband got very annoyed and impatient and said, "do me a favor- don't cook food anymore."

Amish Breakfast Casserole
I'm not much into breakfast food, but when a family friend passed away unexpectedly, I wanted to send more than just a spaghetti dish or something. I thought a nice breakfast casserole would be a nice, protein-filled morning dish for the family instead of a dinner dish or a cereal-or doughnut breakfast. The family absolutely loved it, and I've made it for my parents/family every once in a while even though I don't eat it. It's a huge hit every time and easy to make. I usually do half sausage and half bacon, and add green peppers and broccoli, and offer sour cream to top it with. Thank you so much for this recipe, and my family thanks you too!

Egg Salad/Cucumber Sandwiches
I really liked this recipe- it may have been bland without a few alterations, but definitely a keeper. I left out the onion and just sprinkled a little onion powder on it. I used miracle whip instead of mayo (personal preference) and put seasoned salt on it and a little dill. I also added celery. Yummy!

Chicken and Dumplings III
It was pretty good- my hubby hates chicken & dumplings and liked this. I wasn't crazy about the texture, and I'd use a bit less salt, but very good other than that.
