I love the outdoors, especially cooking over an open fire. I also love boating and fishing in the San Juan Islands. I am very proud to be a life long resident of the Great Northwest. Salmon, trout, shellfish, venison and anything grown out of a backyard garden are my most favorite things to cook. Huckleberry pie every Thanksgiving & Christmas. Our family goes into the Cascades to pick the berries every summer and then freeze them for the holidays. It's a wonderful tradition.
