I have been in the restaurant business for years...so have never had to really cook for myself (which is why, at 40, I still consider myself a beginner!!

My husband is a meat and potatoes guy - so as long as I can please him...yet add a little "foo foo" to it...we're good!

Making candy and cookies with Mom, giving them out to the same people year after year.

I don't burn everything anymore!!!! Yeah!!!

Melting chocolate chips in the microwave...ugh.

Was good, but nothing I'd flip over...but then again...it's meatloaf :D

Cheddar Bacon Hamburgers
They tasted great, but I had a little trouble keeping my patties together :-(

Pork Chop and Feta Skillet
Delicious!!!! The chops I used were really thick, so they needed a bit more cook time. I ended up throwing the lemon juice in the pan to simmer until done...used the pan juice as a salad dressing. YUM!
