About this Cook
I love sharing, so if you have any Korean food recipe requests, please let me know. I love calling my mom for recipes, only because it makes me laugh when she never knows exact measurements. She is always saying a little bit of this and a little bit of that. All of my Korean food recipes are from my mom, but I came out with the measurements by keeping a notebook and recording and measuring everything I put into the recipe. My mom's a great cook, and everyone loves her cooking, I learned a lot from my mom, and my best friends mom who is Korean as well, but she loves SPICY, our family does too, but hers is beyond spicy. I crave her food sometimes, and so I call her sometimes as well, and it's the same thing... little bit of this and a little bit of that!!! =) I will post her spicy chicken wings here soon... because whoever loves burning spicy foods, will love this one!
My favorite things to cook
I love making cookies from scratch... I don't have any original recipes but, that's only because there are sooo many great ones out there I need to try first!
My favorite family cooking traditions
making homemade korean dumplings with all my aunts, sisters, cousins, and most important (Grandma).
My cooking triumphs
finally started getting different types of cakes right... who knew cakes from scratch was this difficult!
My cooking tragedies
Lots to choose from... ha ha hahaha... but, I've learned

Javi's Really Real Mexican Ceviche
It was really good, but I didn't add the oil, because I don't like the taste of oil in something you eat cold, and I had to add extra lime juice. Overall still 5 stars

Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies
These are great!!! Except I didn't feel like grinding up the oats the first time I made them, so I just put in 3 cups of rolled oats with 1/2 of wheat flour, and my neighbors think I should open a cookie store!!! The second time I followed the recipe exactly, and it was still really good the difference was the texture. Anyway, these are perfect!

Korean BBQ Short Ribs (Gal-Bi)
If you want to use a slow cooker, you may add some peeled potatoes chopped into chunks of 1 1/2 - 2 inches. It's pretty good as well, and use beef flanken instead of using california ribs.
