Bottom Round Roast with Onion Gravy
I never made a roast on top of the stove. And, at my surprise, it was great. I did braise my roast in olive oil first, then added onion and fresh garlic. I used balsamic vinegar witch i love with beef. I added the roast on top of onions then added fresh rosemary & tyme. I also made gravy out of the onion stock. Very very good. I would of had leftovers, but my husband loved it so much he over eat.

Sally's Spinach Mashed Potatoes
Very good! I shredded pre-boiled potatoes, cooked the spinach then cooled it. In the sour cream, I added, ground red pepper, tablespoon dill, graded 1/2 onion, granulated garlic. Mixed everything together. I think this is a keeper. Great blend of flavors. My whole family loved it! It would also make a great pot luck. Thank you Sally for the recipe.

Broccoli Casserole II
Very Good- I did make changes. I used chicken base in my water when I cooked my rice. Put everything else plus thyme in my microwave steam bowl. Cooked for 6 min. in microwave. mixed everything, put in cassarole dish, baked 35 min. Very tastey!
