About this Cook
I never would have guessed I enjoyed cooking so much as I do. I cook for flavor. I really enjoy sharing meal with people. Eating is a social thing. I like keep things as healthy and as fresh as possible.I an enjoy the science and art of cooking. I am a mom to a almost 5 year old.
My favorite things to cook
I am a big fan of appetizers snacky type finger foods as well as dips and spreads. I love to entertain so I like presentation dishes that people are going to enjoy and talk about. I like diverse sides.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I learned to cook from my mom, I was mortified when I went somewhere and enjoyed it asked for the recipe and people laughed at me because it was can soup...my mom cooked from scratch. My dad is now the head chef in my family and he got me to kick things up full of spice and flavor!
My cooking triumphs
I am really proud of my recent Asian food attempts. I am also proud that pretty much every recipe i have tried I have liked...even when I altered them to my own preference.
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make cinnamon sugar sweet potatoes fries....they turned more into cook potatoes in a glaze...they looked gross but they tasted good.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs
My husband said this is one of the best things he has ever had. We all loved it, even the five year old. I served it over long grain rice, and corn bread... grilled with red onion and peppers but it didnt need it. HIGHLY reccommended will be making many more times.

Antojitos Minis
super easy to make and very tastey! As other reviews i take and cut a soft taco shell into four and use in the muffin pan. I just throw whatever have into them they always come out wonderfully. Great use of left over taco meat, and i love corn and diced jalopeanos. top with guac.
