Kabob Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2008
FANTASTIC!! I doubled the recipe and let a combination of sirlion and chicken chunks marinate for several hours. I reserved some to brush on while cooking. I also used pineapple chunks, cherry tomatoes, green peppers, red onions, and mushrooms on our kabobs. I cooked them under the broiler and brushed the kabob with the marinade several times during cooking. I will be using this again and again.

Beef Crostini Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
This was very good combination. I did not want to have a "knife&fork" kind of sandwich so I used sourdough bread and made it into a panini. (see my photo) I did use a bit of the parm but I also topped it with fresh mozzerella. It was soooo good. I have since even used the basic ingredients to make a quick pita sandwich. I cook the onions in evoo for a few minutes then add the roast beef, soy, and parsley for a minute just to heat it up and into the pita it goes. Very good!

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
Very Very Good! I made these bars two times now. The first time semi-sweet chips were used and the second all I had were milk chocolate. I much prefer the taste of the semi-sweet morsels in these yummy bars. Make sure you take copies of the recipe with you if you! I have had the requested for parties and had to write this out for people several times now.

Cranberry White Chocolate Shortbread

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
These are the most addictive cookies. I have made them several times now. I like my shortbread to be on the softer side so instead of making them flat, I used a small ice cream scoop and left them in that shape. Not only do they stay in the cute shape of a scoop of ice cream, they a soft and slightly chewy. (see my photo) You do have to cook them slighty longer to get them to brown a little. The first time I made these I used bar chocolate and chopped it into pieces. This last time I used white chocolate chips and it was much easier and less of a mess. I will make these again and again.

Church Supper Hot Dish

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
The recipe as written is a good base to start with. The sesoning are absolutley not enough to give it any flavor. It was very bland when I made this as written. I will probable make this again, but next time at the very least double the seasoning.

Ham and Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2008
This was a great recipe. I had a ton of left over ham from christmas. I tripled the recipe for 5 of us and there was plenty. It still fit into a 9x13 pan. I also added fresh sliced mushrooms to the recipe.
