Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

very crumbly, not all that tasty. However, I used organic, unsweetened peanut butter and course organic cane sugar. This recipe would probably work better with a peanut butter such as kraft brand or something, and a softer sugar.

Egg Foo Yung with Mushroom Sauce

This is so good! Very simple to make and delicious. I made mine a bit different due to lack of proper ingredients, but I got the idea. I used spinach instead of Bean Sprouts, and made a gravy out of dry mushroom soup mix. I also used sunflower oil instead of peanut. Nevertheless, great recipe!

Yeast Dumplings

These were really good, though not entirely what I expected. They basically taste like really really dense dinner rolls. I found them much too large and actually preferred them when rolled to the size of a marble, as they do expand while cooking.

Juicy Pork Chops

I'm a vegetarian so I can't comment myself, but my husband would consider himself a meat connoisseur (they say opposites attract) and he said they live up to their name; The juiciest, most moist pork chops he's ever eaten. And they were sooooo easy to make!

Snowballs II

These are pretty much a more solid, rolled form of a shortbread cookie. Pretty good. I'm giving only four stars because when you take a bite it tastes like you're eating a mediocre shortbread cookie and I found it a bit disappointing. It was yummy though. They were gobbled up at a party.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Good and chewy! They expand quite a bit in the oven so unless you don't mind your cookies running into each other then give them a little more space then usual. I added a little bit of pepper - a dash (I know, crazy! My mother does it and it's amazing) to make them spicier.

Baby Carrots With Curry Sauce

Great simple curry sauce. I have been looking for one for a while. I didn't use it on carrots, but let it cool and thicken up so I could use it as a dip for garlic baked potato wedges. Delicious!

Oatmeal Cocoa Macaroons

Very good cookies! I left out the coconut and added about an extra 1/2 cup of oats. Almost exactly like the cookies I had growing up. Instead of making the normal cookies, I made a giant bunny face that people could break off cookie chunks.

I put extra salt on because I LOVE salt. DON'T DO THIS! even though it seems like a small-ish amount, use what it says! Mine were WAY WAY WAY too salty.

Mexican Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas

I did everything according to the recipe and let them sit for 8 hours covered before rolling. They rolled well but when I tried to cook them they would burn in spots and not cook in others. I tried everything from different temperatures, different pans, different sizes and thickness of dough. Nothing worked. The golf ball size is also so small you can hardly wrap it. I more than trippled the size in order to get a tortilla large enough to hold one egg. I don't know why it wouldn't cook.

Delicious! I ended up using more oil as it was quickly absorbed. I also patted the latkes with paper towel to degrease them a bit. Fantastic!

Lemony Green Beans with Walnuts and Thyme

I was very dissappointed with these beans. There should be a measurement for how much lemon juice/zest as all lemons are different sizes! My dinner guests and I all puckered our lips at the first bite. WAY to lemony. I would have used a third of the lemon juice and maybe added a bit of butter.
