About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I have to say I really love to make soups. They are so easy and sooo good. You can usually use whatever you have on hand. Just throw it all in the pot and voila!
My cooking triumphs
I am finally becoming a decent baker. I sruggled with baking for a long time. I also just tried my hand at making spanikopita. If you are familiar with them they are kind of difficult to assemble. They were awesome.

Pork Chops with Fresh Tomato, Onion, Garlic, and Feta
Yummmmm!! This is absolutely delicious. I salted and peppered the pork and dredged it in flour before searing in oil. I drained the oil and then took the advice of another reviewer and braised in 1 cup chicken broth for about thirty minutes. I also used roma tomatoes instead of the grape. They were excellent. When the broth reduced by half I added about 1/4 cup milk just to make it a tad creamy. Fresh Parsley on top of the feta and BAM. Delicious recipe. Gotta try it peeps.

Old-Fashioned Cheese Potatoes
These potatoes are sooooo good. I will never go back to my old scalloped potatoe recipe. The onlything i changed was that instead of the processed cheese I used shredded chedder cheese. The processed would probably come out creamier but I have always liked the texture of the real cheese better. Try these. You will love them.
