wow, i tried a lot of recipes for banana bread on here and this is the best. it only takes one bowl, simple to make and comes out perfect. i just did half brown sugar and half white, used oil in place of butter, made muffins. turned out great. i also set my oven to 325 but it could be that my oven heats really hot.

Banana Crumb Muffins

i didn't have enough banana so i added frozen berries. they were great out of the oven however by morning the crumble was soggy. maybe it was my fault because i put them in a donut box overnight. my daughter liked them a lot.

Mel's Magnificent Chocolate Chip Cookies

I didn't have a full cup of butter so i used a half cup of margarine and a half cup of sour cream. i also didn't have the full amount of chips so i used what i had and then eye balled some coconut, raisins and walnuts. as well iused whole wheat flour. they came out great. fluffy almost like cake batter but really nice despite all my subs of ingredients.
