About this Cook
I was raised in a family with seven children so of course we were always cooking. I would always experiment with different recipes and try to make items that we had at restaurants or on outings. A lot of times, I would have dinner ready for my mom, brothers and sisters when they came home from work and school. I now have three children of my own and another due in 5weeks! I've learned alot from my aunt Rainy, who is the best cook ever. So here I am, cooking away for my children now. It is what I love to do.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook almost everything except fried foods. They are so messy and time consuming.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite cooking times would have to be when I'm with my sisters. We love to go to the store to pick out the items together. We then get a bottle of wine and spend all evening in the kitchen preparing and reminiscing all at the same time. Good times, good times.

Banana Crumb Muffins
I dont usually rate anything but these are the best I have EVER had. I made them for my sister last night and she had to take some home with her, they were so good. I doubled the recipe and Im glad I did since they went so fast. dont hesitate...just make them and see...the topping gives it a nice yummy crust that is prefect when you bite into them..I bet this would be good if walnuts were added to the banana mix..maybe next time.

Crab Rangoon III
the trick to keeping these babies closed while frying is to make a paste of flour and water, brush all edges with mixture then close. Ive made my own version of these for years and they never pop open, Happy Eating!!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
Yummy and chewy, just like we like them! I was out of chocolate chips and low on cash so I used leftover hersheys kisses broken up. It came out delicious. They took 14 minutes to bake instead of 10...could be my oven. Love this recipe and will use again but will have to double it next time!!
