Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2009
Delicious! The only thing I did different is: 1) I rubbed the roast with garlic salt, salt and pepper. 2) Cut up a medium onion and put it under the roast in the crock pot. 3) Speared the roast (2.5 lbs) with frersh, whole garlic cloves I used 6 cloves.. I cooked it on high for five hours and then two hours at low. Drained the broth and onions out and added a bottle of Sweet Rays' BBQ Sauce. Yummm... :-)

Can I give this recipe TEN stars? AWESOME. #1 WARNING: USE GLOVES! I made of mistake of not and paid for it, but it was well worth it. I stuffed the peppers the night before, then battered and fried them the morning of Superbowl Sunday. People raved about them!

Delicious!!!! I don't know if it's going to make it to the Sunday Superbowl tomorrow! ;-) I added 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder and a teaspoon of cilantro flakes for extra flavor, other then that I wouldn't and didn't change a thing.

Airport Bob's Green Beans

Very similar to mine. But, I fry the bacon in a pan, until golden brown and crispy. I set the cooked bacon on the side and drain on a paper towel. I then brown the green beans in the bacon grease, adding garlic and season salt to taste, stirring occasionally until tender. Adding a few cloves of chopped fresh garlic and crushed bacon over top toward the last few minutes. Delicious.

The Ultimate Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2008
Perfect! One of our favorites and will be making this again. I added half pound of spicy sausage, large chopped onion and five cloves of garlic to the sauté mix. Also, as per the review of Jill, I added the following ingredients: 2T Garlic Powder, 1T Cayenne Pepper, 1T Salt, 3T Brown Sugar, 2T Honey, and 1T of extra Chili Powder. Oh yeah, a suggestion to thicken up the chili is to use 3T of Corn Starch with 3T Water. Served with Marie Calendar’s Corn Bread.

Cousin David's Slow Cooker Brisket

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
Excellent! Will be making this again. I did follow some of the top reviews ideas, by adding a large sliced onion, three carrots and two peeled potatoes into the sauce. I also added half tea spoon of ground pepper. I was a little hesitant, because I had never made a brisket before, but it turned out great and tender. I cooked it on high for five hours and an hour on low. Served with black eyed peas and steamed Jasmine rice.
