Pecan Pie V
This pie was exceptional! I made it for Thanksgiving (my first attempt at pecan pie) and it was a hit! My tweaks: I added 1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips, and I used about 2 cups of pecans - which I toasted in a skillet first and right before they were about to get too dark I added a Tb or two of butter (I heard it gets absorbed in as the nut oils get released). I really think that made a positive impact on the pie!
