About me... well the cooking me just loves food and honestly I'm impulsive I see something that looks yummy and I want it. So when I have these little impulses far from searching the city for what i want i learnt to cook. Mostly if i see a dish in a movie or on tv and those tv people look like they're enjoying its onto AllRecipes and the fantastic treasure trove of wisdom contained within. I'm a consumers dream, lol, easily persuaded.
My favorite things to cook
Any new recipe (except cake, see below) I love to get excited about what its going to turn out like. Getting all mouth watering happy because I can imagine the flavours. I'm kinda suprised that I dig cooking so much!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Oh how cool it would be to have a family cooking tradition! Our family doesn't have one but maybe I'll start one. We are Aussies so maybe its BBQing and perhaps the morning after recovery brekky could be considered a tradition.
My cooking triumphs
Lol this one is tricky to answer because i think that mostly i'm a legend cook (modest I know) and my hubby just likes to be fed so I don't really know how good my cooking is. There's no chefs in the family so its easy to impress.
My cooking tragedies
Cakes. Its so tragic. For some reason I had a dream of being able to create these beautiful sweet mountains of cake and i haven't cooked one yet that has been 'Nanna' worthy! Always over filled, collapses, high in the middle, burnt, undercooked and doughy..... gosh the list goes on. Lucky for Fried Chicken.
