I didn't have biscuit mix so substituted with 1 1/2 cups flour, 3 teaspoons baking powder and 1 teaspoon salt. The result was an easy made bread but fairly dry. I ended up slicing it, butter the slices and toast under a broiler before serving it to my guests. They liked it but could barely taste the onion.
I will probably bake this bread again because it was easy to prepare but double the onion and sauté not only tender but brown a little bit.
