This was a good pie. Not tart enough for my taste. I used whip cream and not frozen whipped topping. Might try again to make it tarter...not sure how though.

Easy Snack Wraps

I used the newly available Lavash bread available at Trader Joe's. It's rectangular shaped making it perfect. I didn't have tomatoes and thought it would make this too soggy, but I know that tomatoes are a must as it was a bit dry. I think I will use a bit of Ranch dressing next time for a bit more taste.

The Best Meatballs

I used all lean ground turkey and this was great. I used 1/2 cup of regular parsley as well as cilantro. I think next time I will make a 'spicy' batch and add sweet and sour chili sauce. This is for sure a keeper!

Marian's Creamed Corn

I left out the sugar and used a fraction of the butter. I used 1/2 of the required cream cheese (low fat) and I still was overwhelmed by the richness of this dish. My kids who love corn didn't care for this one. I think the concept is good, but we were disappointed with the results.

Leslie's Broccoli, Wild Rice, and Mushroom Stuffing

I didn't have broccoli and used more mushrooms instead. I used ~twice the broth then stated and it was good. Definitely a keeper. Will add other veggies like carrots or celery next time. YUM!

Garlic Chicken

I had my husband prepared this as I wasn't home to get it done in time for dinner. He followed the recipe to a T (amazing how husbands can follow directions at times). This was way too oily for both of us and I needed a good Schnaps afterwards - didn't mind that. The garlic taste was good so I will do it again with just using a few sprays of PAM instead. Still a 5 despite the overload of oil.

Easy Broccoli Quiche

I cut out the butter and used chicken broth instead to soften the broccoli. I used twice the amount of chopped (very small) broccoli. I used fat free half and half to mix with the eggs; also added a few dashes soysauce. I sprinkled the cheese over the pie after baking it for a bit. This is a keeper.

Barley Bake

Really liked this dish. Definitely a keeper. Didn't use butter but a few sprays of Pam to cut the fat. Didn't have Pine nuts so I used sliced almonds instead. Really yummy if you like it nutty.
