Nana's Southern Pickled Peaches

Salmon Cakes II

Delicious! I substituted tuna for the salmon, but followed the recipe to the letter otherwise. I used my own sourdough breadcrumbs, which made the cakes a bit soft but good. Sauced with a sweet pickle remalaude sauce, the dish was kickin! Hint, add an egg to the recipe if using fresh bread crumbs...

Cake Mix Cookies VII

Want easy, quick, delicious cookies? I changed the oil 1/2 butter + 1 TB Oil instead. This is a great recipe I added choco chips and cherrys with alittle icing on top. Awesome!

Beer Battered Chicken

Whole Wheat Bread III

Bread was low rising, which I expected, it lacked flavor and had a crumbly texture. The recipe would probably work better with 1 1/4 tsp of salt, this will yield a slightly higher rise in the loaf (if you use the original recipe) as too much salt will kill the yeast. Adding 2 C. Whole Wheat flour and 1 cup white bread instead of the 3 Cups Whole Wheat flour will definately yeild a better loaf with less crumbling. 4 Tb of cornmeal was plenty for me. Adding the ingredients from the bottom of the recipe to top will also help keep the salt from direct contact with the yeast.

Fresh Apple Cake

Awesome apple cake recipe! Be ready for a rich apple cake here, maybe decrease the vegetable oil to 1 1/4 C. but otherwise a melt in your mouth, moist, richly flavored traditional apple cake that you can take anywhere and people will be licking the plate for the crumbs! Best Brownies

Excellent brownie recipe! The only thing I changed is I added 1 jar of baby food applesauce (or baby food prunes or pears) and decreased the butter to 1/4 c. I made these, let them cool and they were gone in less than 10 mins, eaten by my family of 4 before I even got a chance to frost them! If you make these double or triple the recipe! Buttermilk Chocolate Chip Cookies
