I'm 73 (7/13/09) short and a lil'round and love to cook "anything" especially new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook just about anything but I guess my favorites would be the sweet breads,apple,pumpkin,blueberry and chicken and casserole dishes and making hot tamales and dishes I have never tried.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The holidays has to be Chicken and dumplings(the old fashion way)roll 'em out,and the small Pecan pies

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
This recipe is the best: very tasty and chocked full of pecans (I doubled the pecans)and it is very moist even after being frozen and freezes very well--doesn't fall apart when sliced with an electric knife which is the only way to slice bread (not including corn bread.)You bake this bread and you are in for a treat--Ya gotta love it.....

Spaghetti Italian
this is some really good tasteing spaghetti and a little spicy.I used the "hot" italian sausage--very good and I would highly recomend it and I give it five stars--very very good
