Mashed Potato, Rutabaga, And Parsnip Casserole With Caramelized Onions

I didn't use parsips, used more rutabaga, or the clove but dish was excellent and so healthy! I baked over browned pork chops and it was delish!

very good but if you are making for a large crowd skip the cilantro. some people (OK, ME) can't stand the stuff... if you want a laugh, google: "I hate cilantro"..... it really does taste like soap! think 10% of the population.

Polish Bouja Soup

the rutabaga makes this different, special, and great! gives any veg. soup or stew better and more flavorful. It's a shame so many people don't know it's virtues.

Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake

very good! made as recipe written but I did add blueberries along with the strawberries to try to see if it would be good for the 4th of July. Worked just fine. Will add to memorial day and labor day parties! Thanks!

this is almost just like one I've been looking for that our closed deli used to make with their ham ends. They didn't use the pork and sold it as cold cuts. That is good too. Both ways are yummy! make two and try them both as written. that's axel!

Lisa's Favorite Carne Asada Marinade

followed everything but left out the cilantro, I hate the stuff! Made on the grill and it was very tender which is a trick sometimes with flank steak. Thanks Lisa.

Make this all the time as a side dish using a pound of fried and chopped bacon as the only meat, and adding it in right before serving. Following the rest of the recipe.

Buttermilk Chocolate Cake with Fudge Icing

followed to the letter, very good but 2nd time I made it I used a smaller pan, 8 x 11 and it turned out even better. Icing worked better too as the 9 x 13 was too big to barely cover. I baked 35 mins instead of 30.
