I would not make these again. They took forever too cook, much longer than the recipe stated for the filling. The filling never set up and the crust was overcooked and tasted burned. It was an expensive recipe to not be able to eat.

I thought this was a nice change to finish up the left over Thanksgiving turkey. I used croissants.

I know this got rave reviews but I won't be making it again. I thought it was too mushy. Only one person tried it at the Thanksgiving meal besides me and they weren't crazy about it.

No doubt about it, this is a winner. I won't serve a ham now without it.

This was way too watery and would need too many modifications to rate it higher than a one. I would not make it again.

I served this tonight to 12 people and everyone liked it, several wanted the recipes. I was almost embarrased to give it to them, it was so simple to make:). It is an easy festive pie for the holiday season. Will definitely keep this one. I didn't change a thing.

Excellent! The only change I made was to spray the muffin tins with Pam but I didn't touch the ingredients. They present very nicely and have good flavor. I am going to try 1/2 bacon and 1/2 ham the next time for my Bunko breakfast. I know it will be a hit.

I thought this was a nice, easy, summer-time refreshing drink. I served it for a Bunko party and was asked by several people for the recipe.

Maybe this was too simple for me, it lacked something and was very bland. I added some chicken bouillion to it and more salt and pepper. Even with the modifications after trying it as submitted, I won't be using it again.

I thought this was excellent with the substitution of almonds for the peanuts. A very nice change.

This was just ok to me. I wouldn't make it to serve company unless I knew someone absolutely craved grits. I will keep it on hand for that reason, until I would find a tastier replacement.

I'll have to agree with reviewer marybcurlyq "I followed the recipe exactly and thought it to be very bland - nothing exciting about it". I won't be using it again.

It lacked presentation and not pretty at all! We will eat it so as to not waste the ingredients.I agree with one of the reviwers that it was a rubbery consistency and really tasted like a boxed cake with cut up strawberries on it. I ended up putting some cool whip on it to dress it up a bit and added some nuts and fresh sliced strawberries on top to jazz it up a bit for presentation. To me, it is not worthy for company presentation.

This was just ok, I followed the recipe exactly. I didn't find the blend of ingredients very flavorful and will not use it again.

We really enjoyed this one, even a non-asparagus lover asked it be a keeper:). Thanks to the reviewer who gave added info to boil the asparagus for 2-3 minutes because that really helped me with a time frame and it was perfect. I didn't change any of the ingredients and thought it was very good. A good company recipe with good flavor as is.

I thought this rated a 4 as there are similar recipes that I like better for a 5 rating. I followed the directions as stated.

All I can say is EXCELLENT! It doesn't get any better than this and I followed the recipe to the letter. I must agree with another reviewer to make sure you use true maple syrup-no Mrs. Butterworth's here:). I agree with the submitter to dredge in flour and sear in hot oil to keep in those juices as an important step, not to be omitted. This is great in the oven--don't know that doing this in the crock pot would have the same effect. A lot of reviewers modify the recipe from the original submitter and then rate it upon their modifications rather than using the original and review on that and then try it again with their suggestions and rate it and note that in their review so people can gauge what they have done and give a more accurate review on the original submission. This recipe was excellent, I will use it again for company and for family. I couldn't stop eating it. It was that good by the originator. The only comment I would make is that I may make a little less sauce due to the expense of the maple syrup and I feel halfing the original ingredients would provide a sufficient amount.

This is excellent. I wanted to keep eating more. I did follow the recipe exactly regarding ingredients; however, one reviewer recommended rolling the dough into balls, dipping the tops in sugar and flattening slightly which worked out great for me. This is a definite keeper for me.

I put this one in the family barbecue section so that means it is a keeper. I made it exactly as directed.

I know this got great reviewes from a lot of people but it was just ok for me. The recipe is not a "keeper" for me. The texture was "real gooey" as stated but not that flavorful for us.
