About this Cook
I'm a new mom. My work only allows me to cook three nights a week - so I try to make them count.
My favorite things to cook
I haven't put in any recipes yet but I love to make pasta (spaghetti & vodka pasta), tacos (no recipe necessary), enchiladas, casseroles (chicken divine & tuna) and I make a great white chili.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I can't think of any, but to fill in space my favorite cookbook is "How to Cook Without a Book" by Pamela Anderson (a different Pamela Anderson obviously). My mom gave it to me and it's easily the dirtiest one I own.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime my husband says, "Let's put this into the rotation" I consider it a triumph.
My cooking tragedies
I made a panfried halibut once that my husband was ok with, but I hated it. Turned me off of cooking fish actually.

Creamy Homemade Chicken Stew
I saw on other's reviews that the sauce didn't really turn out. Somehow I thought this wouldn't happen to me. I followed the directions perfectly, but the milk separated and now it's a big mess. I might try to wash everything and make a sauce and another user suggested, but I still would not recommend this one.

Chicken Tagine
This was a hit. I liked it a lot, but my husband flipped over it. And it made our house smell amazing =) I cut the recipe in half, but otherwise kept it the same.

Indian Chicken Curry II
My husband actually made this for me. We wanted to experiment with something Indian and this was exactly what we had in mind. Wasn't too hard to make (especially for me) and it tasted great. The leftovers are already history.
