Home Style Macaroni and Cheese
Very good macaroni & cheese! I made a few changes that added a little more flavor. I sauteed an onion in olive oil with 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper and added it to the cheese sauce when it was ready. I served this along side pork loin chops, turnip greens and chili-brown sugar roasted sweet potatoes for a delightful winter Southern Sunday supper.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops
I highly recommend this recipe. I buy the large pork loins from Sam's Club and slice my own very thick boneless chops. I made this recipe exactly as written, served with brown rice pilaf to absorb some of the sauce. It makes a great fall or winter meal.

Broccoli and Sausage Cavatelli
This is a great recipe! I am an organic gardener and had a bumper crop of broccoli to use. When searching for a different way to use broccoli, I chose this recipe to try - they say variety is the spice of life! I added the fresh broccoli at the end of the pasta cooking time as per instructions but only for about one minute to turn the broccoli bright green. I did add one can of fire roasted diced tomatoes and cut back a tad on the olive oil. I also made this using old-fashioned smoked link sausage, cutting the sausage in thin rounds and browning the sausage to render all the fat (discard fat), This change also makes a very good dish. I have used several different pasta shapes to use what was in the pantry with equal success. Try this - I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
