I scaled this down to 2 and used 75% water 25% milk. no idea what it should taste like but will make again, we enjoyed . thanks

made as directed apart from the sugar and nutmeg, neither of which I had to hand - served with crusty white bread - great- then added just a little cayenne for personal taste - shame the wife doesn't like bell peppers, guess it's all mine

Tangy Vegan Crockpot Corn Chowder

I don't have a slow cooker so I pre boiled the onion, chili and potato until jut soft, then put the rest of the ingredients in and put the pot into a very low oven for a few hours - this is really worth trying - I'll be making it again

Spicy Coconut and Lime Grilled Shrimp

I had to make on substitution as i didn't have any jalapeno in, just habanero!!!it was warm ;-) other than that I followed the directions and used 1/2 the ingredients it turned out great

Mock Tuna Salad

really really good - should go well in a sandwich or jacket or cheese melt etc, we just had it a side dish to some rather hot bbq prawns- but it does not taste like any tuna salad that I've had

Spicy Sweet Potato and Coconut Soup

OK, so I didn't have the sesame oil the ginger or the coconut milk.. but I did have coconut cream, madras curry paste and the other ingredients, like others I boiled the sweet potatoes and onion, although I can see the flavor of roast sweet potato would come throw. o n a plus side you can reserve the water for the stock

Herbed Rice and Spicy Black Bean Salad

Sorry, too much vinegar for my taste, I thought it was too strong when I tasted it before mixing into th rice but hoped the other ingredients would tame it, if I'd 1/2 it I suspect my rating would be 4 star

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Great, had to bump up the chilli but that's just me , straight from the directions this is good I just like it hotter and found the cream cheese a little over powering, might try with raw sweet corn next time to give a little crunch and sweetness this is a great starting point that I can see going in so many direction, but again from the original it's really good

You will not believe the flavor's until you're made this... I only used 10 crackers as they were the fluffy ones, seemed to work well.

Sun-Dried Tomato Goat Cheese Spread

Powerful flavors in this and I used roast garlic puree not fresh cloves, probably would go well with that glass of red wine, but it's only 9am... Quick and easy to make and well worth trying but not a keeper for me

Fantastic Lemon Butter Fillet

I'm not sure if it was a scaling down problem or that my haddock fillets were a lot smaller than usual but this was too strong in the lemon taste, I also had to leave out the pepper as the wife will not eat anything with pepper on it.. I'll try this again though it's quick and easy and should make a better meal than it did

Good but I had to add chilies to give a little kick... I used the 'Enchilada Sauce' SUBMITTED BY: Anna Marie for the sauce, it worked really well for us

Spinach Pie

well worth making, like others I halved the amount of spinach, and used frozen spinach well drained and then placed on a warm pan to dry a little more not so hot it wilts cooks
