About this Cook
I'm the mom of 3 boys, ages 12,8, and 4 1/2. We are very active in church and sports. I love to cook just about anything, and thankfully my family eats it all!
My favorite things to cook
I love Italian food, casseroles, slow cooker meals the best;
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't know if this qualifies as "cooking", but each Friday during the summer, the boys can choose anything they want for dinner--even ice cream or candy. It's a great way to reward them for their hard work during the school year.
My cooking triumphs
Not sure I've had any.
My cooking tragedies
Trying to pass off chicken sausage to my husband the first year we were married. He still won't eat it, seventeen years later!

Pumpkin Roll Supreme
My sister has been making this for Thanksgiving for years, and it is truly delicious. Very filling, and a nice alternative to pumpkin pie.

Peanut Butter Frosting
Wow--I don't usually make my own frosting. But after being inspired by a peanut butter cup, I decided to make chocolate cupcakes with this frosting on top. I followed other reviewers suggestions and cut the sugar down to 2 cups or so, and I think it's the perfect peanut flavor with some sweetness. We have not eaten the total finished product yet, but of course I sampled the frosting as I was making it, and it is delicious. This couldn't have been more simple to make. This is really, really good.

Tuna Noodle Casserole II
Very nice--I would have liked a little more creaminess, but altogether good. My family loved the chips on top.
