Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Fantastic. I have never liked oatmeal raisin cookies, but i had about a cup of raisins that seemed they would never get eaten so i decided to get rid of them in cookies. I used all butter, allspice instead of cloves, and soaked my raisins in warm water. They cooked perfectly at 9 minutes and are chewy and soft with a slightly crisp outside. Perfect sweetness, perfect spice, just perfect. And, my kids love them. Great way to incorporate oatmeal in my picky eaters diet. Thanks Beth!!

Baked Pork Chops I
This recipe was pretty good. No way is the cooking time right though! I cooked my chops for 30 minutes and even that was almost too long! Good flavor though! Good base recipe.

Banana Sour Cream Bread
I made this recipe the other day and it was SO GOOD! I added a couple shakes of nutmeg, 1/4 tsp of ground cloves, about a tsp. of lemon juice and 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon. I didn't melt the butter because I have never heard of baking banana bread without creaming the butter and sugar. I also did not leave my bananas sliced, I mashed them because banana chunks just don't do well when baked in a bread. This is now my favorite banana bread recipe, I can't wait for my bananas to get nice and ripe so I can make more!
