About this Cook
I am 18 years old, and my boyfriend and I live together. We eat out too much and so I joined here because we can't seem to think of dinner ideas for ourselves. I see I am not alone. Thank goodness.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook chicken and beef. Anything I can season to taste is good to. I like controlling what goes into my food, which is much healthier then choosing something off of a drive up menu.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family has a enchilada recipe. It's a secret though so I cannot post it.
My cooking triumphs
I have MANY. When I was 16 I decided to make thanksgiving dessert. I made a chocolate coconut volcano cake. It was leaking milk chocolate and coconut over the edge, and was a hit at thanksgiving.
My cooking tragedies
I am a fan of french onion soup...and found a microwave recipe online. I burned the onions in the microwave 6 times before I got it right, burning a bowl with one mistake.

Beef-Stuffed French Bread
This was a really good recipe. I was a little weary about it but I followed it and everything was really good. The only thing I changed was using a orange bell pepper rather then a green one. My boyfriend, he loved it too. 5 stars!!
