Apple-Cheddar Tossed Salad
This salad is great, but the best part is the dressing. I substituted almonds and colby-jack cheese, which went great with the apple. The dressing was so good that every single friend asked for the recipe. I made the dressing in my blender, and the second time I wasn't as patient and put the oil in too fast. Unfortunately, it kept separating and was un-servable. So make sure you go slow to let it blend completely. My husband doesn't like the flavor of celery so I left the celery seed out for him, but I think it tastes better with the exact recipe. This dressing always gets eaten first while my Newman's Own just sits on its sad little shelf.

Teriyaki Chicken Pizza
This is a fantastic recipe! The flavor combination is amazing. Try adding toasted almonds for a little texture. I served this on mini-pitas as appetizers and they were party favorite. It seemed like there were a lot of left-over toppings, so I toasted them inside full-sized pita halves for lunch.

Peanut Cilantro Dip
This dip was completely overpowered by the vinegar, soy sauce and garlic. It tasted more like a marinade than a dip. I made it for a party, but was embarassed to serve it, so I tried to re-do it with only 1 Tbs. vinegar, 1 Tbs. soy sauce, and 2 cloves of garlic, and some cream cheese to make it more dippy. Too bad because peanut/cilantro is a really nice combination.
