I am 24 years old and cooking and food service is something I was raised with. My uncle owns a Catering Service and my grandfather owns a restaurant. Ever since I was a small child I have been in professional kitchens and surrounded by professional cooks. Surprisingly, I am an English Teacher! I love to cook and hope to someday open my own restaurant. My first love was Italian Cuisine, then Indian, then Asian and now I will tackle and probably enjoy just about anything. I am making fusion cuisine my current hobby, I have a new found love of making soups. I also love to bake and my baking is probably stronger than my cooking in some respects. I love to make Cheesecake! From my grandmother, sauces and pies. From my uncle and grandfather, meat preparation. There is nothing quite like the tricks you learn from family. Apple and Brie stuffed chicken has become a sacred dish among my friends. I always offer to make dinner for birthday celebrations and that is almost always the request. Also Roasted Veggie Lasagna. Cheesecake, again. My first attempt at making yeast bread, I nearly cried.
