My favorite things to cook
I like to try everything! I don't like cooking shellfish mainly because I can't try out my creation since I am allergic. I love Indian food (it's pretty high on my list of favorites) and of course being from Texas, BBQ & Tex-Mex!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandma is from Puerto Rico & she makes the best fried plantains. SO YUMMY! and a really tasty coconut rice pudding. I crave it!
My cooking triumphs
in highschool I won 2nd place 2 years in a row in the Young Chefs of Southern California cooking competition. That was a trill. I still have my medals & my chef's jackets.
My cooking tragedies
Nothing major really. When I was working as a cook in a breakfast restruant I did cut my finger a bit when I was chopping up bacon. It wasn't bad tho.
