I am a stay at home mom with 4 boys. I am very good at making desserts and baked goods. I get asked to make desserts for potlucks all the time. My mom was a hotdish (a casserole in Minnesota) or out of the box type of cook. That's why I'm trying to improve my cooking skills, so my children grew up with fond memories of homemade meals, not spaghettios. Winning first place in a chili contest. The first cake I ever baked was horrendous. I didn't know there were differences between flours and I wound up with a 1 inch thick cake!!
