This recipe was delicious!! I did, however, make a few modifications: I followed the advice of reviews to cut down the butter to 1 1/2 sticks butter, and then added the butter and garlic mix to the mushrooms after they came out of the oven, which made them moist and buttery, instead of dry. I would also not add the stems to the stuffing because it really does not do anything for it, and you'll end up with much more stuffing than you need. Be careful though, they can be slippery! I also added all of the seasonings after the mushrooms came out of the oven as well.
Another thing I did was I did not use crab meat because my mom only likes crab alone, and she does not like anything even a little bit spicy so I omitted the red pepper as well. everyone loved them, and lots of people wanted the recipe! People kept asking for more of them, and a couple of people said they were the best mushrooms they'd ever had!
