I am a mother of 4 wonderful children and a grandmother of 2 awesome grandson's. I enjoy spending quality time with my kids and grandbabies in the kitchen cooking. I have a wonderful husband who is a wonderful cook as well and has a passion for it as do I. My family and I ensure a lot of time in the kitchen as this is where we have our most fun and enjoy setting new traditions and keeping the old ones alive. With my husband being Italian we do a lot of Italian cooking. However we are constantly experimenting with new recipes. Making up our own recipes. I especially enjoy the holidays and cooking during that time. As a small child my mother, sister and myself would be in the kitchen cooking, especially around the holdings. My mother has since passed, however my sister and I along with our brothers and their families and my dad still today keep that tradition going. Which is exactly what mom would have wanted. We have a lot of fun with it and of course even enjoy the mess that comes with 9+ adults and 10+ grandkids being in one kitchen. It is a lot of fun and hectic. But we are constantly laughing and amazingly we usually burn nothing or have any diasaters. Everytime my family tells me dinner, breakfast, lunch, snacks, etc. are good or I get a huge hug and it is thanks mom. Not too many tragedies I can remember, Mom ensured to teach us to watch everything. The biggest tragedy was an act of the wind when it sent a cheesecake sailing out of my hands. Horrible mess right outside my door
