About this Cook
My name is Holly and I live in a small town in southern Virginia. I'm 25 and am finally getting the hang of the whole cooking thing. I've always preferred to eat at home as opposed to going out, but on weekends I do like to try different restaurants in the city. I enjoy cooking for my boyfriend when he comes over because he always makes me feel like a good cook!
My favorite things to cook
I am not one of those cooks who can improvise and just throw something together. Since joining allrecipes I feel confident in cooking most anything. I love reading the reviews and tips from others.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad's side of the family is Lebanese so every year on Christmas Eve my mom makes several traditional Lebanese dishes. It's always a nice switch up from the ham/turkey stuff and it's our once a year treat!

Sausage Balls
mmmmm these were delicious! i might add a little crushed red pepper next time to give it a little more spice. i used hot sausage & freshly grated 2% sharp cheddar cheese. after mixing those, i added the bisquick and it mixed really well together. i refridgerated it overnight and cooked them the next day! it definitely takes about 15-20 minutes to cook, especially if you like them a little brown on top like i do!

EAGLE BRAND(R) Peanut Butter Fudge
i made this recipe a little lighter and it turned out awesome. i used reduced fat crunchy peanut butter and fat free sweetened condensed milk. no one knew the difference until i told them and then they got another piece!!! i will definitely be making this quick, easy recipe again!
