My name is Holly and I live in a small town in southern Virginia. I'm 25 and am finally getting the hang of the whole cooking thing. I've always preferred to eat at home as opposed to going out, but on weekends I do like to try different restaurants in the city. I am not one of those cooks who can improvise and just throw something together. Since joining allrecipes I feel confident in cooking most anything. I love reading the reviews and tips from others. My dad's side of the family is Lebanese so every year on Christmas Eve my mom makes several traditional Lebanese dishes. It's always a nice switch up from the ham/turkey stuff and it's our once a year treat!
