Easy Chicken Alfredo II

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
This was pretty good and pretty simple. I started it around 5:45 and was serving dinner at 7:00. I even had to broil the chicken. I definately recommend adding more garlic and onion, otherwise, it might be kinda' bland. My family ate it just fine and did't complain. I even stirred some steamed broccoli in with it.

Chocolate Mint Cake Squares

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
Very yummy and a very pretty dessert to take to a luncheon. I was afraid that I wasn't going to have time to get it done though since you have to let the cake cool completely before you put the mint and chocolate layers on it but I stuck it in the freezer for about 30-45 minutes and it worked perfectly. This almost resembles some sort of fudge. MAN IT WAS GOOOOOODDDDD!!!

On Wisconsin Beer Brats

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2008
I made this for my office's monthly luncheon. NOBODY touched them, except for one of the men in the office. Everyone thought that they were cooked in saurkraut. I was disappointed. I ate one and they definately taste like beer. The one guy that ate them thought they were great and he took the leftovers home and ate them for a few days.

Spanish Flan

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
I made this and it was the first time I had even thought about making something this fancy. I used the Chocoflan variation, an entire cake mix won't fit on top of the recipe, only about a cup of it. Also, I had never heard of a water bath, so I just filled a baking pan full of water and sat the pie pan in that, and I think it worked like it was supposed to. Anyways, it was pretty good, I took it to a Cinco De Mayo luncheon at work and nobody got sick. I did have to throw half of it away because it didn't get eaten but no big deal, that usually happens with everything.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2007
I made this the other day for the company chocolate cook-off. I must say that it is a very pretty cake. I served it on a black and white platter, dusted it with powdered sugar and placed cherries all around it. However, I was not impressed with the taste. As matter of fact, it was the last thing touched on the table. More people scraped the cherries off of the plate to eat then eating the cake itself. I thought it was rather expensive to make for no better than it tasted. I won't make it again.
