Beef Stew VI
With a few additions this was hands down the best beef stew ever! I coated the beef cubes in 1/4 cup flour, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp pepper before browning. Deglazing the pan with 1/2 cup of red wine added an extra layer of flavor as did 1 Tbsp each of steak sauce and Worcestshire sauce. Delicious!

Peach Chicken Salad
I did not have any fresh mint, so I substituted dried instead. The flavor of the dish was wonderful and the texture was good the first day. However, upon sitting overnight, the juice from the peaches combining with the vinegar left the salad a soggy mess. Very good, but must be enjoyed the first day.

Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread
Tasty, but very moist. I substituted applesauce for the majority of the oil and did half brown sugar and half Splenda to cut down on the calories so it wouldn't be so much of a "dessert." The bread was almost soggy the next day, but after putting it in the toaster oven, it was quite good.
