About this Cook
Spent the last 20 years living in Europe and Asia.
My favorite things to cook
Although I spent the last 6 years living in Thailand, I think I prefer the mexican type dishes better. It's not as spicy as Thai food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Chicken or pork is the easiest to make a savory dish people will ask for more.
My cooking triumphs
Not very good at it now but I used to cook a 'mean' Texas chili.
My cooking tragedies
Never try to cook a dish with the hot sauce added during the cooking. Let the person who is eating it decide how spicy they want to eat it.

California Guacamole with Bacon
Good idea with the bacon bits. I suggest also adding a minced scallion.

Creamy Garlic Sauce
Very easy to make. The cream should not be frozen so only make one batch at a time. If it spoils as it get old, no problem because it's so easy to just make a new batch.
