Spanish Rice II

I thought this was great. Much better than the old recipe I'd been using. Glad I went looking for a new one. I did follow the suggestions of others and added some garlic and used chicken broth instead of the water. This one's definitely a keeper!

Chocolate Caramel Brownies

Great brownies...took them to work for a "brownie bake off" contest....won first place. My only variations: used devils food cake mix, and made in a slightly smaller pan to keep them thicker. Will definately be making these babies again!! Thanks for an awesome recipe.

Root Beer Float Cake I

Will definately make again. Brought this to a work food day, everyone was impressed with the cake and the idea of something so different. No leftovers....I did do what others had suggested by putting some of the glaze back into the pan before putting the cake back in it. thanks for the great recipe!

Banana Pudding Cake

Banana cake is my favorite, that's what made me try this recipe. I was not disappointed. It was very moist and tasty. I did not make the glaze however, just used prepared frosting, cream cheese flavored and gave a thin coat. Will definately make again. thanks

Quick Chicken Divan

Wow...this dish caused the biggest reaction I have ever had about dinner from my husband! He loved it. I thought it was great too...Definately a keeper. I did use 2 cans of cream of chicken instead of the cream of mushroom...no mushroom lovers in our house...thanks for a great and easy recipe!! p.s. have made this many times since, now I just use fresh broccoli, not frozen. Cooks fine, so no need to precook.

Alfredo Sauce

Great!!...never tried making alfredo sauce before..this was very easy. I didnt even have trouble melting the parmesan cheese.Will definately use again. I did cheat and use garlic and parsley out of a jar, but it still tasted great! Thanks

Tater Tot Casserole I

mmm...mmm...mmm..Everyone liked it, even my picky eaters. I used 4 eggs instead of 2, was worried it might come out to runny with only 2. With the 4 eggs, it came out with a quiche like texture. Will definately make again. Think I'm gonna try bacon next time!! thanks for the recipe...its nice to have something new for breakfast!

Baby Back Ribs

mmm...mmm...mmm..Never even entertained the notion of making ribs before because I thought they would turn out tough...not this way!! This is a definate keeper. Next time will get out the bar-b-que and do a little grilling at the end...cant wait to have again.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Good recipe. A little messy, but everyone enjoyed, even my picky eaters. I did leave out the peppers and used some onion powder in place of the whole onion for the picky eaters. Also just used 8oz of tomato sauce. Family liked, and wants to have again..that means winner in my book!

The Best Lemon Bars

Simple and good. Good tartness, yet not too sour. I made with limes as my husband is a lime freak! They turned out great. Took some to work to get other opinions, well liked. Did use 4 limes as they were pretty small, and didnt get much juice from just 2.
