Worked super. I have typically relied upon a can of chili beans (the horror!) and found myself without said can, but needing to make chili. Had almost all ingredients on hand (no parsley), and it is fabulous. Chili is still on the stove and will never, ever again use something bought from the store. May cut the flour next time, but it doesn't overpower the seasonings at all.

Really great stew. I skipped the flour because I didn't see a need to add it. Next time I'll try it in the slow cooker. The balsamic vinegar adds a great zing.

Really good! As usual, made some changes according to previous reviews (S&P, beef bouillion, jarred mushrooms as didn't have fresh), and worked great. Will definitely do again.
