I'm a mother of a 2 year old son . I'm really busy with my son so I like recipes that and easy and fast . I love baking ! Cakes , cookies , breads , and candy . I love hot foods . I mostly make traditional southern food found in southern Louisiana . My grandmother was a great baker . Since she passed I have a made her famous green beans every holiday . I just made my first king cake this Mardi Gras . I never made yeast bread before so I was a little worried I might mess it up . It turned out really good . I changed the recipe a little and made a cream cheese filling for it . I have read the recipe wrong and forgot a step or left out something . Sometimes it still turns out good .
