About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Everything :) I really enjoy the challenge of trying to make grown-up meals my picky three year old will actually eat.
My cooking tragedies
When I first got married I tried to make chicken noodle soup..not realizing you have to use chicken stock for flavor. Lets just say it come out tasting like exaclty like water..yum. :)

Zucchini Brownies
OOOH My! These are sooo good. Impressed everyone at my dinner party. The batter is very very dry, I had to use my hands to pat it into the pan, but they came out moist and chewy. I skipped the frosting and whipped up some heavy cream for the top. You have to try this recipe dont let the zucchini scare you away!!

Lemon Chewy Crisps
These were soo good, I'm actually made another batch as soon as the first came out. I did change the recipe just a little, I used 1 tsp lemon extract instead of zest and 1 TBS of lemon juice. I also used almond extract instead of vanilla. Really came out great! I suggest taking the cookies out before the brown on the outsides, they stay really soft that way!!

Apple Hermits
These are super good!! For some reason following the directions to a "T" left me with a very crumbly batter. I had to add an extra egg and just a little bit of water to get it workable. Other than that, its a great recipe!!
