About this Cook
I am a work-at-home wife to my wonderful husband Fred, and my awesome 6 children ages 8,6,5,3,2 and 9 months with another due in april. We are so blessed!
My favorite things to cook
I LOVE cooking Italian and Mexican food, and my specialties are baking and kid friendly dishes (for obvious reasons =D) I dabble in gourmet since hubby and I like our night quiet time.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holidays mean family cooking, ALWAYS. My kids LOVE to help in the kichen, and most have mastered the basics a quite a young age. We do cakes, cookies, pies, casseroles, and love doing the semi-annual gingerbread house!
My cooking triumphs
This might sound dumb, but i had the hardest time mastering the art of breadmaking. It took me YEARS of experimentations and allot of patience from my husband, but now I can make a nice everyday bread, as well as dinner rolls that hare requested at every pot luck and family get together we attend.
My cooking tragedies
I once tried to make Chori Pollo from scratch and it was so far beyod disaster it isnt even funny. We had a food-burial funeral in the back yard. I hate wasting food, and that was not a low price dish =C =C

Ornament Dough
We followed it to a T and it turned out fantastic...great consistency, not at all too sticky, and did not puff up too much in the oven. The kids had a blast. Thanks for posting!

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins
Very good. I made these with a little apple sauce in the batter because my eggs were small, and it was a little stiff. They turned out delicious, and I will be making these again and again. Thank you for sharing!

Clone of a Cinnabon
This makes a perfect dough. The baking time is also right on. I wasnt all impressed with the filling, I might change it a bit, but my search for a great cinnamon bun dough recipe has come to an end. Thanks!
