My name is Jan and I'm married to the man of my dreams. Jon and I married in July 1998. We have 3 sons and 1 daughter. Jon is a general contractor and I homeschool our kids. We attend a wonderful church called Edgewater Christian Fellowship (check us out online @ edgewaterfellowship.org). My favorite thing to cook is Shrimp Alfredo. I love to cook what I love to eat, so my family doesn't get spaghetti or meatloaf near as often as they'd like. I also like to cook meals that leave me with leftovers for the next night (ie. chili, enchiladas, chicken curry). I'd like to use my slow-cooker more often, but I haven't found a lot of recipes that catch my attention. Even though we take seasons off from this tradition, my kids will always remember "Taco Tuesday". Also, I enjoy hostessing Thanksgiving at my house, but my mother-in-law and I trade back and forth. She's so gracious to share that holiday with me.
