Lemon Lover's Pound Cake

This recipe was fantastic. I prepared the recipe exactly as directed and came away with a very moist lemon pound cake. Gave it four stars because the frosting could not sit out for more than a few minutes without clumping. It'd be better if it didn't include dairy/sour cream.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Supersoft and supertasty. They just came out of the oven so I'm excited to see how they taste tomorrow. Next time I make them I'll use a bit less ginger. Wish I could figure out how to make the glaze, I tried OJ and powdered sugar but didn't get a good consistency.

Baked Spaghetti

Good with a few tweaks. I made my normal spaghetti recipe as far as spices and vegetables, then proceeded to follow the layering and baking instructions. It would have been pretty bland without the additional spices. Will make again.

Oven Brown Rice

This is the only recipe I ever use for my brown rice. I typically cook it for at least 1-1.5hrs. I also use whatever type of broth I have on hand.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

These came out perfectly. I followed the instructions exactly, with the exception of using brown sugar instead of white in the topping, and making only a 1/2 batch of the topping. I wish I'd doubled the batter, as it does only make about 8 muffins. This is definitely my new blueberry muffin recipe and I'm excited to try it as a "base" for other muffin recipes.

Grandmother's Famous Cranberry Bread

What a great way to use leftover frozen cranberries. I made muffins instead, added 1/2 of the zested orange (sliced) to the cranberries and blended in a blender with about an extra 1/8 cup of OJ. Muffins came out very moist, great flavor. Will definitely make again!

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

This recipe was great, only giving it four stars because I took the advice of other reviewers and added the following: bbq sauce, dash of worchestire, grated carrot, and onion. I also halved the recipe, it tasted better than any ground beef meatloaf I ever made, my friend dropped by for some and came back the next day to have leftovers with me.
