Apple Harvest Pound Cake with Caramel Glaze
Very good cake. I made as a sheet cake because that is the pan I had. I also subbed 1/2 cup of oil for cinnamon applesauce, only added 1 3/4 cup of sugar and regarding the apples used 3 cups of red rome-not sure how much the 2 apples would have yielded. I cooked on 325 and at 50 minutes it was done. Brought into work today and everyone has said how much they love it! Will definitely make again!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
Excellent. This was my first go ever making a pie and it turned out wonderfully. I have always been intimidated by pie making but since I didn't make the crust it was really quite easy. I made two days in a row in fact. I made the changes other users suggested subbing out 1T of Water for Vanilla, adding 1t of cinnamon and used red rome apples because that is what I picked from the farm. I made with margarine at my Mother's and the sauce when heated was much thinner than when I made the next day again with Butter. It was actually easier to work with the Margarine even though Butter is the better product. For the first pie I brushed the bottom inside crust with egg whites cooking for 1 hour on 350 then for the 2nd pie I did not use the egg whites but cooked on the higher temp for about 10 minutes. Both worked fine. In both instances I cooked on the bottom shelf in my oven. I took pie #2 to a friend's house for dessert and everyone there raved about it. I will definitely be making and using this recipe again and again!

Banana Pudding IV
I thought this banana pudding was excellent! I made it for a progressive dinner where there were 6 of us and everyone loved it! I sent some home with the other couples and one of the girls emailed me to say she ate the leftovers for breakfast! I used skim milk, low fat cream cheese, fat free condensed milk, and light cool whip to cut down the calories and only emptied my condensed milk about 85% of the way. I put this in a smaller yet deeper dish so that I could do two full layers of the cookies, bananas, and pudding. I also crumbled a few cookies to put on top and added some bananas right before serving. Last thing-try subbing in Pepperidge Farms Chessmen cookies instead of nilla wafers-you will not be disappointed!
