About this Cook
Grew up in St. Augustine, Fl. Then I moved to the NYC area and ordered delivery every night for five years. Now that I'm in Virginia, and have a lot more free time I have started cooking.
My favorite things to cook
chicken, sweets, anything with garlic
My favorite family cooking traditions
Granny's French Salad Dressing 2 garlic cloves 1 tablespoon salt pinch or 2 of pepper 1/4 cup vinegar 1 cup of olive oil Put slits in garlic cloves or half them to let the flavor out. Add salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil. Shake well. Add parsley, basil, paprika, ect. if you want. May change to your taste, like using 1/3 cp vinegar,or different amount of salt,or no pepper, usually use a ratio of 1/4 amount of vinegar to 1 of oil.
My cooking triumphs
Thanksgiving last year~
My cooking tragedies
Pancake batter caked on my glass stove top!

Chicken Pot Pie IX
I think the ppl that say this is dry and are doubling the sauce must be cooking the sauce too long and boiling out all the h20 or something. Because I had too much sauce! I couldn't fit any more in my pie. This recipe is good as is. It just needs a little more flavor. Add garlic, a little more pepper, a little more salt, and poultry seasoning. Potatoes also add to this lovely pie!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese
Loved it! Use garlic breadcrumbs for added flavor. I used 1/4 cup of milk to make it creamier.
