Stuffed baby pumpkins, Phyllo dough wrapped salmon with white wine sauce, chicken fettuchini alfredo, mediteranian pasta salad. Prett ymuch anything that tastes good I suppose. Being able to make something from what I have on hand without a recipe. I am pretty good at seeing something and thinking about what the probable ingredients are. I wanted to start baking alot of yeast breads so I bought bulk yeast instead of the pre packaged stuff for cost reasons. When the receipe called for .25 oz of yeast I measured out .25 oz..... by weight. Ooops! I thought it seemed like way too much but I had never really baked bread so I went with it. Well .25 oz came out to be 8 tbs and the recipe called for 2 .25 oz packages so I added 16 tbs of yeast. I should have only added 5 tsp, which is .5 oz by volume. The bread came out looking really great but tasted terrible. After the first bite I knew exactly what I had done wrong lol.
