I made these according to the recipe, without the frosting, and my family loved them! They weren't too cake-like, like some of the other reviews say. At least to us they weren't. I took the advice of other reviews and hand mixed the batter, and beat the eggs before adding them. Good brownie recipe and we're making them again tonight with chocolate chunks and walnuts!

Cereal Treats II

Perfect if you're looking for a traditional rice crispy treat! Works awesome with just about any kind of cereal and really great for cereals that you need to use up. However, in our house, it's a rare occasion if we can wait 2 hours to let them cool before eating them!!

Monkey Peanut Butter Bars

Lasagna Roll Ups

This was great! The kids really enjoyed it. They prefer "meatless" lasagna. I added minced garlic to the cheese mixture, and we had a tofu malfunction so we didn't get to use it. I was disappointed because I was looking forward to introducing the kids to tofu this way. We'll definitely add it next time.

Vegetable Beef Soup I

My family really enjoyed this soup. And with a family of 5, there were no leftovers! I used leftover meat and potatoes from a very large pot roast. It worked out well.

Hamburger Cookies

I made these for the kids as an April Fool's joke. They thought it was pretty funny. My store didn't have any of the chocolate mint cookies, so I had to use Hershey's Almond Joy cookies. They were bigger than the 'Nilla Wafers, so it looked like the burger was bigger than the bun. No one noticed. I used yellow frosting on the bottom wafer, put the chocolate cookie on, topped that with red frosting and the green coconut. One child thought the yellow was mustard, another said it was cheese. So it worked either way!

Triple Threat Fruit Smoothie

I made this with my girl scout troop as part of a cooking badge. The girl who was supposed to bring the blueberries didn't show up! So we had to do without. I used two bananas to help sweeten it up a bit. The girls loved it and most came back for thirds!

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

These are yummy, chewy cookies. I had no issues with them being too flat like some reviews said. I baked them at 350 for 10 minutes and they came out great. My 3-year-old and I had fun mixing them by hand and getting messy!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

I really liked these. They rolled out nicely (I used powdered sugar instead of flour) and they were thick cookies. I used them to make little fruit pizzas for a picnic and got tons of compliments. I added about a 1/4 cup more sugar because I like my sugar cookies very sweet. But these were very yummy!

Vanilla - Chocolate Powdered Sugar Frosting

I needed frosting in a pinch and found this one. I followed the directions and it worked well. It was a bit runny at first, but it did set up nice when I let it sit for a minute.

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

Very good, creamy mac n cheese. 7 oz of macaroni isn't very much, though, so I used a regular 12 oz pkg and it worked good. Added some cubed ham once and the family liked that a lot.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Mini Meatloaves

This is such a great idea. The kids loved having their own little meatloaf. I used the muffin tin like someone else suggested, and I didn't have any oats on hand so I used bread crumbs instead.
