About this Cook
I'm a mother of a four year old. He can be picky, so I am always looking for recipes to try, especially with vegetables.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking anything that's considered "normal". Nothing formal or fancy, just plain and delicious.
My cooking triumphs
I guess you can say anything that comes out good, is a triumph for me. I wasn't taught to cook, so what I do know, I've gotten great at. Cookies, meatloaf, chicken. Basics, but good.
My cooking tragedies
The biggest tragedy that I had was the first meal I cooked for my Uncle. No one explained anything about timing to me, so first came the veggie, then the potatoe, and lastly the meat. I had started it all at the same time, so it was interestingly long for a basic meal. Also, I've cooked fish and meatloaf that both came out extremely salty. I threw the fish out, and only my dog ate the meatloaf!
